INSTRUMENTATION, CONTROL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEERING TRAINING

INSTRUMENTATION, CONTROL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEERING TRAINING

ABOUT THE COURSE

This course provides an overview of process Control systems, Instrumentation, and Automation from Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering Design (DED), Procurement, Construction and Operation of Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Handling Facilities. The focus is on the application and integration into the process and control of upstream, midstream and down Stream oil, gas and petrochemical facilities. The experience from this training will be applicable to field production facilities, pipelines, gas plants, onshore and offshore systems.

Instrumentation, Control and Automation Outline

• Defining Key Oil & Gas Parameters to measure and how to measure these Parameters.

• Identifying equipment and instrument characteristics and using appropriate instrumentation and controls. Starting from the basis, with P&ID.

• Control and Instrumentation Measurement Techniques.
• Various types of sensor measuring techniques and application requirements.

• Control modes and their applications, communications requirements

• Interface Protocols and requirements, Modbus IP/TCP, OPC, Profibus and serial connections using RS-432, RS-422 and RS-485.

• Field (facility) control and monitoring systems such as pressure, temperature, flow and level indicators and controllers.

• Field (facility) safety monitoring and response systems including SIS, HIPPS and emergency shutdown valves.

• System-wide considerations including communications, local control, RTU, SCADA and Telemetry Systems.

• Data management and use-HMI, Historians and Sequence Event Recorders

Available Courses..... Who should attend?

COURSES AVAILABLE AT TIMMSVILLE ENGINEERING.

1. Auto CAD 2D & 3D
Auto Cad or commonly known as computer aided design is a software application for 2D and 3D designs.

The Auto CAD or computer aided design machine has been a great help to engineers and also for several architectures that are finding it impossible to deal with drawings and plans of the project engineering work and the bring on the verge of perfection. It is the basic software all engineers as well as architects are expected to know.

2. Bentley AutoPlant

Bentley AutoPLANT V8is the mature, industry-proven,

AutoCAD market leading, 2D and 3D plant design suite helping to cost effectively manage all plant size projects through an integrated environment that supports design, management, and review from all stakeholders — saving money, improving project speed, and providing safer infrastructure.
