INSTRUMENTATION, CONTROL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEERING
TRAINING
ABOUT THE COURSE
This course provides an overview of process Control systems, Instrumentation, and Automation from Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering Design (DED), Procurement, Construction and Operation of Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Handling Facilities. The focus is on the application and integration into the process and control of upstream, midstream and down Stream oil, gas and petrochemical facilities. The experience from this training will be applicable to field production facilities, pipelines, gas plants, onshore and offshore systems.
Instrumentation, Control and Automation Outline
• Defining Key Oil & Gas Parameters to measure and how to measure these Parameters.
• Identifying equipment and instrument characteristics and using appropriate instrumentation and controls. Starting from the basis, with P&ID.
• Control and Instrumentation Measurement Techniques.
• Various types of
sensor measuring techniques and application requirements.
• Control modes and their applications, communications requirements
